In other news, I have now started reading three different manga simultaneously (CCS, Kobato, and Tokyo Babylon), and am feeling the distinct urge to go bookshopping. Because my bookcases are overflowing and this somehow just makes me want to buy more books.

But for now, writing instead. I hope to have the drabble requests done soon. :D |

Here’s how it works. :D Beneath the cut is a list of fandoms and the pairings I ship/like/am interested in writing/whatever. Having to explain to your mother that no, really, she does not have a prostate = LOLZ.
And she then tried to tell me that I have a lazy eye, which LMFAO WTF I DO NOT. XDXD
Of course, my mother is also the woman who thinks she is having strokes “because [her] legs hurt” and having heart attacks “because there is nothing in [her] brain.” Yes, literally, I couldn’t make this shit up. So that really kind of says it all. e_e;
(Amusing sidenote, however! For those of you who don’t know, I have/had epilepsy, but when I had roughly 48704875045 tests run because of it, nothing ever showed up in my brain except for this one little blip. I had forgotten where exactly said blip was, buuut my mother reminded me tonight and I nearly died laughing. Because, apparently, it is totally right by my left eye. Which I have been joking for ages that I was probably doomed to someday lose, considering. THANK YOU, CLAMP, FOR SOMEHOW COMPLETELY TAKING OVER MY LIFE. 8Db Ninja and bloodplay nao plzkthnx.)

...it's been almost two years since I last saw her. ["Her" being my former best friend, who I had known since I was two and who I had been absolutely stuck at the hip with since I was eleven. And who I really never thought would turn on me, buuut life surprises you sometimes~.]
Two years on the thirteenth of this month.
I...am having a really hard time processing this. And really kind of wish I hadn't realised it at all.
Even if I know it's for the best, I'll admit it hurts that I'll probably never see her again, that the last time was that long ago.
God.
But I'm glad, at least, that despite all the shit that came after, the last time really is a good memory and something that still makes me smile. Even including the phrase "Fucktards in a church." (Ahahahaha we had the best friendship ever, we really did. So much awesome crack everywhere. ♥)
It's just a pity that out of everyone, she probably came the closest to making sense out of me, and even she failed in the end.
...BUT I CANNOT LET MYSELF EMO TOO MUCH BECAUSE THE KENTUCKY DERBY IS TODAY OMFG~~. ♥♥♥
Yes, I am a horse racing geek and have been for years, and yes, I get very excited. XDDD |

Oh my god I never thought I'd find anyone else quite like either of them, LET ALONE SOMEONE WHO'S A MIX OF BOTH. (If you have heard stories about these two, you will understand the epic level of shock and/or mild terror here.)

…somehow, I suddenly seem to have acquired a Hallelujah muse.
Am not entirely sure how this happened. Am pretending I’m not secretly pleased about it. XD;
I get the feeling he’s been wanting to barge in for a while now, though, so it’s good he finally is~. Except I’d really wanted an Alle-muse too – and for whatever reason, I’ll generally only get a muse for half a pair. o_o; (The most notable exceptions for this are Fai and Kurogane. Fai-muse flails around in my head all the damned time, but Kuro-muse definitely shows up too and glares at me when he wants something. XD;; Which I also pretend I don’t find cute.)
Ah well. Maybe I’ll end up with the both of them anyway, since technically they are the same person~. And if not…might be for the best, considering Tieria-muse is liable to try shooting Alle for being brainless. >.>; Whoops.
Actually, I may end up with muses of all of them, considering I can relate a lot to each of the Meisters, with the exception of Setsuna. (Because clearly I am not Gundam. Nor do hot dogs send me into random PTSD flashbacks.)
Tieria is easily the one I empathise with the most, the enigmatic guardedness but still being lonely and wanting human contact all the same. And the exasperation of ‘OhgodIamsurroundedbyidiotsDOINITWRONG.’ Except I’m not at all grumpy and my personality itself is a lot more like Lockon’s – trying to stay cheerful and always playing mama to everyone else whilst being perceptive and accepting of…well, essentially anything. (Basically, Lockon is some bizarre mix of Fai and Kurogane and oh god it’s no wonder I love him so much. o_O) And there’s a bit of Allelujah thrown into the mix there too, the gentleness and uncertainty coupled with epic avoidance issues. >.>
Really, I just love that I initially got into this show just for the crack and then it ended up giving me reasons like this to become ~*emotionally invested*~ in it. XD And let’s not even get started on how much the Lockon/Tieria dynamic guts me like a fucking fish. ._.;;; Buh.
I should seriously try getting the entire series downloaded (tubes can be filled? ~_~) and then marathon it all. Om nom nom. ♥ |

Thaaat I can’t seem to get rid of~. I’ve taken…actually, I’ve lost track of how many Tylenol I’ve taken, but clearly they are not working. XD (Though I do think I may’ve OD’d on them a bit, whoops~. Damn that whole being-tiny thing.)
Loads of caffeine aren’t doing anything either, when normally that helps at least a little. I guess I threw my neck out worse when sleeping than I’d thought. o_o
…and if nothing else, I should really have the sense not to read things that I know will only depress me, hah. XD;;; But whatever, volume six of Loveless suited my mood~.
But on the bright side! I think I actually managed to make a decision today! One I’ve been pondering over for months, actually.
Considering that I am a Libra, this is Really Rather a Big Deal. XD
…now hopefully I won’t just go and change my mind on it again like the good little air sign I am. Sigh.

There was a lot of cute today. Except a good bit of it just…ended up making me really nostalgic and sad? XDD So I’m not quite sure whether to squee or “;~;”. Ohhh well.
There was also lots of reading!
Caught up with xxxHOLiC, which provided an awful lot of the cute and which I will have to squee about later. Reread FMA up to chapter sixty, and had almost forgotten just how damn good it is. Started rereading Eclipse, and had forgotten how crap it is. XD; Oh, Twilight.
Been writing, too – tried out my hand with Ling/Ran-fan for the first time and oh god it just tripped me up so badly, thanks to a certain other otp of mine. XDXD

Plus, I want to see if I can invite some muses from it in. :3 (I seem to be developing a Sheska-muse already? o_o Which...should not be surprising me at all, considering. XD;)

Sigh, my area ftl. XD (Noooooot like that wasn't already obvious, but~.)
First we were under a water advisory for a while, as they apparently found ecoli in the water supply. >.>; And then about as soon as that was lifted we were put under either a tornado watch or warning. XDD
Do not waaaaaaaant. (I am surprisingly terrified of tornadoes, given that I'm all "*lalala air sign~*" and love wind in general. o_o)
I slept with the radio on, too, and I'm pretty sure I must've heard the weather advisory subconsciously even before my mother woke me up to tell me -- I was definitely dreaming about tornadoes, at least. ._.;

I also need to reread the FMA manga! I miss Ling and Ran-fan. ;~; Ran-fan especially -- she's so cute and so hardcore and remindsmesomuchofcertainotherpeopleinotherfandoms. wtf. >.>;;;;; (Seriously WHO THE HELL ELSE DOES THAT. XDXD Silly badass ninjas. ♥)
Also found a couple random FMA eps on my computer I'd halfway forgotten I had. o_o;; So I ought to rewatch those too while I'm at it.
